Helping parks and recreation advocates help parks and recreation. (Citizen-Board Member Branch).


The Citizen-Board Member Branch has been in existence for 32 years and continues to locally offer education and training programs to more than 8,400 park and recreation board members and volunteers across the nation. "One of our priorities this year is to learn more of the interests and needs of this diverse group," says C-BM President Bob Robertson
    Robert Eugene Robertson (born October 2, 1946 in Frostburg, Maryland) is a former first baseman in Major League Baseball.

    Robertson, who batted and threw right-handed, played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1967-76), Seattle Mariners (1978) and Toronto Blue Jays (1979).

A program priority is implementing regional training programs for board and commission members, elected officials and other community activists and volunteers about the benefits of parks and recreation through the Discover the Benefits[TM] program.
