Helping audit committees respond to an adverse report.


The AICPA's Audit Committee Effectiveness Center is making available SOX (1) (Schema for Object-oriented XML) An XML schema developed by Veo Systems and Muzino Communications, which was submitted to the W3C. SOX is based on DTD, but adds data typing and reuse mechanisms.  Section 404: Responding to an Adverse Report--A Checklist for the Audit Committee to educate audit committees of companies that have received an adverse report on the effectiveness of their internal control over financial reporting.
