of volunteers on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Tall Ships chief liaison officer Sarah Willan said: "This is an opportunity to be a vital part of The Tall Ships Races 2010, the biggest free event in the country next year." Liaison officers will make sure the captains and crews have everything they need, and other volunteers will provide support for the media and crew centres.
