The combined funds will help match the generous $100,000 gift to the Foundation made by Stanley Paris, PT, PhD, FAPTA FAPTA Fellows of the American Physical Therapy Association , and Catherine Patla, PT, DHSc, OCS OCS - Object Compatibility Standard . In response to the challenge from University of Pittsburgh Professor and Physical Therapy Department Chair Anthony Delitto, PT, PhD, FAPTA, and Foundation Trustee Daniel Riddle, PT, PhD, FAPTA, 52 schools, chapters, sections and individuals pledged gifts from $200 to $10,000, totaling nearly $80,000. To date, the Foundation has received about half the gifts pledged. Additional individuals, schools, chapters, and corporations also have come forward with gifts totaling more than $5,000. If you have pledged but have yet to pay, please do so before the end of the year to have your gift counted as a 2006 gift. Your name will appear as a donor in the Foundation's 2006 Annual Report and on the Foundation's Web site. All donations are tax deductible That which may be taken away or subtracted.
