Help for victims of identity theft.

Visa USA earlier this year announced a national initiative to assist identity theft victims in recovering from the aftermath of the crime. Through a partnership with Call For Action, a Maryland-based consumer network, victims of identity heft can receive free, confidential counseling over a toll-free hotline. Visa is also offering personal identity theft coverage as a new optional benefit for cardholders. Member financial institutions will have the opportunity to purchase this coverage to offer free to their cardholders.
