Helmsley broker turns match-maker in triple deal.


Don Kim, senior managing director of Helmsley-Spear, secured three separate offices for a husband, a wife and their best friends, all jewelers, in two buildings on the same block in the Fashion District, so they could be near each other. The three deals totaled 18,600 square feet.

"What can I say? I'm a matchmaker Matchmaker - A language for specifying and automating the generation of multi-lingual interprocess communication interfaces. MIG is an implementation of a subset of Matchmaker. ! They each run similar businesses and wanted to be close to each other," said Kim. "The Fashion District could not be a better fit for them."

"These two spaces at 48 West 38th Street are really great," said Kim. "The spaces feature brand new first class floors, the landlord is great to work with, and we were able to negotiate an excellent price for both tenants."

 Liew's company, J.C. Nova, is moving from Queens to the Fashion Center to be close to her friends, the Wangs. J.C. Nova, a new wholesale jewelry retail business, is opening its first Manhattan location on the same block at 42 West 38th Street.
