Helen "Louise" Edson Sept. 1, 1957 - March 17, 2009.

MAXTON, NC Louise Edson passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer at Scotland Memorial Hospital on Tuesday March 17, with her loving husband, Herbert Edson by her side.

She was an avid Nascar fan and a collector of M&M memorabilia.

Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Holly Doucette and her husband Victor Doucette of Putnam, CT; and two sons, Shawn Gaboury and his wife Kim Gaboury, Ben Gaboury and fiance Corrine Carbonneau of Thompson, CT; and five grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, William Krupinski; a sister, Barbara Jezierski; mother, Doris Krupinski; and four nieces all of Dudley, Mass.

A memorial service will be held in her loving memory on April 16th, 6 p.m at 25 Hope Community Church, Kennedy Drive, Putnam, CT. Donations may be made in Louise's name to Scotland Cancer Treatment Center, Attn: Mary Lopez, 500 Lauchwood Dr., Lauringburg, NC 28352.
