Palmer, who is expected to be a first round pick in the NFL Draft this weekend, will appear on the cover of the newest iteration of the best-selling and most popular college football videogame, NCAA Football 2004. His image will appear on all of the game's packaging and merchandising.

Palmer also won the 2002 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award is given annually in the United States to the nation's outstanding senior quarterback in college football. It was established in 1987 by a foundation named for Johnny Unitas (1933-2002), the Hall of Fame quarterback who played his college career  as the nation's top senior quarterback, the Pop Warner Award as the top senior on the West Coast and The National Quarterback Club's National College Quarterback of the Year Award. He was named the National Player of the Year by The Sporting News and CNNSI CNNSI Cable News Network and Sports Illustrated .com and to the 2002 AP, Football Writers, The Sporting News, ESPN.com, CBS.Sportsline.com, CNNSI.com and All-American Football Foundation All-American first teams. He started all four years and owns eight Pac-10 career records including total offense (11,621), plays (1,824), passing yardage (11,818), completions (927) and attempts (1,569).
