Heifer International to partner with Elanco.

Heifer International Heifer International is a non-profit charitable organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas, dedicated to relieving global hunger and poverty. It provides gifts of livestock and plants, as well as education in sustainable agriculture, to financially-disadvantaged families around  last week announced a partnership with Elanco of Greenfield, Ind., which makes veterinary medicines and products to improve animal health and productivity.

It is organised by the World Food Programme and its partners, and comprises different activities throughout the year.  and poverty.

"How animals are raised is fundamental to the work of ending hunger and poverty around the world," the groups said in a joint statement. "Healthy animals help create healthy livelihoods, healthy communities, healthy futures. The coming together of Heifer International and Elanco helps complete the circle of possibility for hungry people everywhere; a shared commitment to providing trusted solutions--for animals and people alike."
