Heidemij awarded contract for clean up of 1998 World's Fair site in Lisbon plus projects in Germany and Latvia.


DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1994--The Heidemij group announces new orders have been won by its project teams in Portugal, Germany and Latvia.

Three Heidemij companies will be involved in the $9 million remediation of the site for the 1998 World's Fair world's fair: see exposition.

The Expo '98 exposition facility is to be built at a site that formerly was an oil refinery and storage terminal. The soil is contaminated contaminated,

In the former East Germany East Germany: see Germany. , Heidemij has been contracted to perform a feasibility study "A Feasibility Study" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show. It first aired on 13 April, 1964, during the first season. It was remade in 1997 as part of the revived The Outer Limits series with a minor title change.  aimed at redevelopment of Heidefeld, a closed Soviet military base located in Rathenow. The study, which will cover financial, economic, and operational aspects of upgrading the line, will also include an evaluation of environmental impacts.
