Heat resistant PET bottles. (Packaging Equipment).

In co-operation with Coca-Cola, Schmalbach-Lubeca have now developed a heat-resistant PET bottle with new convenience features for the sport water brand, Aquana.

The isotonic drink, Aquana Sport Water, is bottled in the one-way container at temperatures of up to 85 degrees centigrade. The PET container with a push-pull sport closure is ideal for consumers who want to drink straight from the bottle. This is the first heat-resistant PET container for hot-fill beverages, which is also squeezable. The combination of strength and flexibility is possible thanks to the Ergo-Grip design developed and patented by Schmalbach-Lubeca.

In addition, Schmalbach Lubeca have also completed the range of PET containers for fresh milk products with the 250ml PET bottle for the new fruit-flavoured milk drinks for children, Yazoo Tropical Swing and Yazoo Orange Swing, made by Campina-Melkunie.
