In this newly established role, Kallenbach serves as the central contact for legal matters and enables Heartland to manage compliance and regulatory issues internally.

Kallenbach brings more than 15 years of legal experience to Heartland. Most recently, he was senior vice president, legal and regulatory, for SunCom Wireless Holdings Inc. There, he created and managed internal legal, regulatory and corporate compliance functions; managed the company's public reporting systems and intellectual property portfolio; and negotiated mergers and acquisitions.

Kallenbach has previously been associated with Eureka Broadband Corporation, 2nd Century Communications and e.spire Communications Inc. He also practiced law with Jones Day and Swidler Berlin (now known as Bingham McCutcheon) in Washington, D.C.

Kallenbach holds a juris doctor degree from New York University School of Law Coordinates:  The New York University School of Law (NYU Law) is the law school of New York University.
