Hearst's conferencing call to CMS Innovative.

 Innovative Consultants has been selected by The Hearst Corporation The Hearst Corporation is a privately-held American-based media conglomerate based in the Hearst Tower in New York City, USA. Founded by William Randolph Hearst as an owner of newspapers, the company's holdings now include a wide variety of media.  to design sophisticated conferencing See teleconferencing.  facilities for the publishing giant's dramatic 42-story tower about to rise above its current six-story landmark building at Eighth Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan.

Hearst's headquarters building was originally constructed to accommodate additional floors, hut the Depression intervened with the intended size of the building.

The prominent audiovisual consultants will apply their creative and technological expertise to design a wide variety of AV facilities throughout the new tower. The scope of this assignment encompasses multiple conference rooms, training rooms, rooftop conference center, the Good Housekeeping Good Housekeeping is a women's magazine owned by the Hearst Corporation, featuring articles about women's interests, product testing by The Good Housekeeping Institute, recipes, diet, health as well as literary articles.  Institute, executive offices, dining and boardrooms and a three -story Media Wall in the lobby.

The glass and steel extension, designed, by Lord Norman Foster of architects Foster & Partners, will be completed in 2006. CMS will be coordinating its efforts Foster & Partners, Gensler & Associates and Tishman Speyer.
