HealthTrio xpress System Selected to Manage All Automobile Accident Related Medical and Dental Services in Puerto Rico.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. & SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- HealthTrio and Advanced Computer Technology (ACT) announced that the HealthTrio xpress(TM) core administrative system was selected by Administracion de Compensaciones por Accidentes de Automoviles (ACAA). ACAA provides medical and dental care coverage to all drivers and passengers injured in vehicles licensed in Puerto Rico. ACAA selected HealthTrio xpress due to superior functionality and competitive price. ACAA contracted with ACT to translate the system into Spanish and provide Spanish-speaking support.

ACAA currently deals with tremendous volumes of paper being sent to their regional and central sites for input into their current system. HealthTrio xpress will enable ACAA to automate administration of medical and dental programs and claims adjudication. In addition to maximizing the efficiency of claims and payment processing, ACAA will improve service to customers and providers with workflow management tools and quick access to pre-authorization and case management information. HealthTrio is developing a comprehensive dental module to fulfill ACAA's business requirements.

A second phase of the project will enable providers and clients to submit claims, review status and perform other self-service functions via the Internet.
