KAISER FOUNDATION HEALTH PLAN INC.

Kaiser health plan remains the largest commercial HMO in Southern California, accounting for 37.8 percent of the aggregate enrollment on the list. In 2004, Kaiser offered a new HMO plan targeted at new and enrolled members. The plan features a lower-premium policy that carries higher deductibles. Kaiser is currently working on its electronic medical records system. The project, called KP HealthConnect HealthConnect is Australia’s planned system of electronic health records. The aim of HealthConnect is to improve quality and safety in health care by ensuring important clinical information is available in a high standard, when and where it is needed. , will eventually hold all patient medical records electronically and will be accessible at any Kaiser location.
