Health innovation awards to become an annual event.THE HEALTH Innovation Awards are to become an annual event due to the strong support for this year's awards. Entries are now being called for the 2004 awards. The awards aim to "showcase innovation and excellence in health treatment, care and rehabilitation" and to promote ideas and solutions that could be transferred to health providers across New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. Applications are invited from individuals, groups, and organisations in public health, accident and emergency care, general practice, disability services, community care and primary care and rehabilitation.
