Woodland Hills-based Health Net. Inc. has named Gerald V. Coil president of Managed Health Network Inc., the company's behavioral health Behavioral health was first used in the 1980's to name the combination of the fields mental health and substance abuse. As an example, an organization serving both mental health and substance abuse clients might refer to its practice as behavioral health or  care subsidiary. Coil will focus on improving the division's operations, strengthening its relationships with practitioners and expanding business in key markets.

Coil previously served as vice president of finance and operations for Health Plan of America Inc.

Encino-based VITAS VITAS Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association  Healthcare Corp. has named Jo Ann Mack vice president of operations, overseeing clinical care, referrals administration and human resources The fancy word for "people." The human resources department within an organization, years ago known as the "personnel department," manages the administrative aspects of the employees. . Mack previously served as the Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  director for Glendale-based Interim Healthcare.
