Health Net Opens Multimedia Center at Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads.

Center to Be Used by Children, Family of Enlisted Service Members

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Health Net Federal Services, Inc. (HNFS), the government operations division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), today announced the opening of the Health Net Multimedia Center at the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) of Hampton Roads. The facilities, which will open on December 13, 2006, will be used by the ASYMCA's licensed childcare program, allowing children ages three to 12 use of the center's computers, Internet service, printer, big screen television and listening center with DVD and CD library. The Center will be open to all members in the evenings.

As part of a $300,000 donation to the ASYMCA from HNFS earlier this year, Hampton Roads ASYMCA designed the media center to provide children and families of junior enlisted service members opportunities to enhance their education and a way to stay in touch with loved ones who are deployed.
