"Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer: Making the Journey Your Own" was recognized in the Patient Education category and "Low Back Pain: Managing your Pain through Self-Care" won in the category of Patient Education as well as that of Total Health Information Program, which includes recognition for the video as well as the booklet and packaging. Winners were selected from more than 1,000 entries submitted in this year's awards program.

The National Health Information Awards, organized by the Health Information Resource Center(SM), is the most comprehensive awards program of its kind. Each year the NHIA recognizes the nation's best consumer health information programs and materials. Entries for the awards include brochures, audio/video tapes, newspaper and magazine articles, books, and other media, all of which are judged on content, format, success in reaching the targeted audience, and overall quality.

The Health Dialog videos are part of a broad library of member support tools offered to individuals through Health Dialog's Collaborative Care(SM) program. Health Dialog's suite of Shared Decision-Making[R] videos, which are developed in collaboration with the Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making (FIMDM FIMDM Foundation for Informed Decision Making (patient care advocacy; Kenneth B.
