HDK education programs for children At HDK you can explore art in new ways! There are workshops for school groups, nursery groups and birthday parties. Each workshop has two parts: * First, you visit a current exhibition and look very carefully at the art--you write down your first impressions, and also everything else you observe about the piece, such as the color, the techniques used, the design, the shape--anything at all! * Then, you get together with your group and talk about the art you have just seen. You explore all the ideas you came up with when you were looking at the exhibition, by doing experiments and even playing! HDK helps children think with lots of imagination, explore their own ideas about art, and simply enjoy art.
