CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 6, 1998--The Board of Directors of Hatteras Income Securities Inc. (NYSE:HAT) declared a dividend of $0.095 per share for the month of February 1998. The dividend is payable on Feb. 27, 1998 to shareholders of record on Feb. 17, 1998.

The current yield based on the NYSE closing price $15.125 per share on Jan. 30, 1998 is 7.54%.
