Harvest States Foods. (At Closing People).

Harvest States Foods, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.-based provider of tortillas and Mexican food products, appoints James Ferguson as vice president of manufacturing and operations. Ferguson's responsibilities include manufacturing, operations, quality control, food safety and plant certifications at Harvest States Foods' eight processing facilities. Ferguson's food processing experience includes nine years with Pet and later Pillsbury's Old El Paso brand Mexican food products. At its facility in Anthony, Texas, he directed operations for the company's full line of shelf-stable Mexican food products, which included tortillas, salsa and sauces. More recently, he served as plant manager for Michael Foods where he was responsible for manufacturing, engineering, quality and distribution of the company's processed dairy products.
