Hartz Mountain Industries Hartz Mountain Industries (HMI) is a private family owned and operated company known for its vast real estate holdings in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area. Its former parent Hartz Mountain Corporation (of pet products fame), was founded by German-American businessman Max , Inc. has promoted Charlie Reese REESE Research and Evaluation on Education in Science and Engineering (National Science Foundation)  to vice president of leasing.

He joined Hartz Mountain Industries in 1988 working closely with the leasing and marketing departments as well as property management. Today, Reese is responsible for the daily leasing activities of Hartz' vast real estate portfolio specializing in the office and industrial sector.
