The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. harp professor Laura Zaerr and harpist Alison Bjorkedal will demonstrate both the familiar concert harp and the smaller Celtic harp in a children's concert at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Beall Concert Hall at the UO, 961 E. 18th Ave. In the one-hour program, "Fingers Dancing on the Strings," Bjorkedal will play Prelude in C by Sergey Prokofiev and Sonata sonata (sənä`tə), in music, type of instrumental composition that arose in Italy in the 17th cent. Dressed in Elizabethan costumes, the Eugene Vocal Arts Ensemble will sing madrigals and motets, with the Byrdsong Renaissance Consort as guests (Jan. 23). Musical Feet's youth tap dance company, the Sonic Soles, will show off Charleston, soft shoe, buck and wing and paddle and roll styles (Jan. 30).
