Harlem complex creates 1,500 construction jobs.

A court or courtyard is an enclosed area, often a space enclosed by a building that is open to the sky.
 Hotel with retail, office and 109,000 s/f of residential on a vacant lot at 125th Street and Park Avenue.

The $236 million project will create 1,500 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent jobs and is expected to open in late 2006.

Architect Enrique Norten Enrique Norten is a Mexican architect and principal of the design firm TEN Arquitectos. Born and raised in Mexico City, Enrique Norten began his formal study of architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City, where he earned his first professional degree in  and Marriott International Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) is a worldwide operator and franchisor of a range of value and luxury hotels and related lodging facilities. Marriott currently has 2,300 accommodation properties in North America alone.  Senior Vice President Dave Sampson were also present for the ceremony.

Designed by architect Enrique Norton of Ten Arquitectos/MDA Designgroup, Harlem Park will feature The Offices at Harlem Park (167,000 s/fof "Class A" office space), a 62,000 s/f retail center, 100 residential units, a 1,200-seat meeting/banquet facility, a health club and spa with an outdoor pool facility, and a two-level underground parking garage. At street level, the retail section will wrap around the building.

The developer, 1800 Park Avenue LLC, has been approved for sales and mortgage recording tax benefits totaling $8.5 million from the city.
