disorder, upset - a physical condition in which there is a disturbance of normal functioning; "the doctor prescribed some medicine for the disorder";
 brought a [section] 1983 action against prison officials in their individual and official capacities, alleging First and Eighth Amendment violations. The district court granted summary judgment for the officials on the free speech claim and dismissed the remaining claims. The prisoner appealed and the appeals court reversed and remanded. The appeals court held that factual issues precluded summary judgment on the prisoner's free speech claim, and that dismissal with prejudice dismissal with prejudice n. see dismissal.  of the remaining claim was an abuse of the district court's discretion.
