Hard Chargers gather.


The 30th Field Artillery Regiment Association (Hard Chargers USFAA USFAA United States Federal Aviation Administration  Chapter) held their annual reunion at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, on June 23-26, 2004. Scheduled events included a live fire demonstration, a tour and lunch at the Field Artillery Training Center, a banquet held in the 30th Field Artillery Regimental Room and an annual fundraising auction which raised over $5,000 to support the Association activities. One of the highlights of the reunion was the change of command ceremony in which COL Richard Cardillo relinquished command of the 30th Field Artillery Regiment to COL Tony Puckett.

The installation of officers was held at the reunion banquet with BG (R) Bill Bilo as the new Honorary Colonel and SGM SGM

 (R) Jack Love as the Honorary Sergeant Major of the 30th Field Artillery Regiment. These 3-year appointments were made by MG David P. Valcourt David P. Valcourt is a Lieutenant General of the United States Army. He was previously the Commanding General of the Field Artillery Center and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. , Chief of the Field Artillery. Elections for officers were also held with SFC SFC

 (R) Charles L. Causey Causey is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated a short distance to the north of Stanley.  as President, COL (R) Raymond J. Zugel as 1st Vice President, MAJ (R) Haliday M. Pullum as 2nd Vice President, MAJ (R) William Noard as Treasurer and MAJ (R) Don Shacklette as Secretary. The 2005 30th Field Artillery Regiment Association reunion will be held in conjunction with the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, with 1500 expected to attend.
