The proposal aims to enhance the accounting standards-setting process related to for-profit, private entities. * An update on the Uniform CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. Examination included data showing volume is trending up significantly and meeting expectations. The next milestone is a national public service announcement with the Ad Council to be launched next fall. * Board members were told of the progress on the relocation to Durham, N.C. All key aspects of the project are on target and the move of some AICPA teams will begin this summer. * CPA2Biz (www.cpa2biz.com) briefed the board on the company's latest results. CPA2Biz announced the company is on track to be profitable for a second consecutive year. Online sales continue to grow at an aggressive rate and customer satisfaction is high. The company also announced plans to make a significant investment into major site enhancements during the upcoming fiscal year. |
