HandySoft integrates with Corticon. (Strategic Alliance).

HandySoft Corporation has announced an alliance with Corticon Technologies, a provider of business rules software. The alliance joins business process management (BPM) and decision management solutions to help create a single enterprise environment that can support the design and deployment of complex and intelligent business processes while minimizing coding and customization. HandySoft will offer the Corricon rules engine as a complementary option to BizFlow, its platform for BPM and wotkflow automation. The goal is to help benefit organizations that want business-managed decision services that can be reused across BPM and other applications. BPM solutions built with BizFlow and Corticon can provide control of business processes to the business user. Business process owners can establish the decision rules for decision-making activities within the flow of work, then design and automate the process itself using a point-and-click design tool that enables easier integration of ERP, databases and other back-end systems. BizFlow and Corticon also both support Web Services, enabling the two platforms to work in concert in applications that integrate a variety of IT resources. Use of Web Services also helps make rules-based process management more flexible and efficient, allowing organizations to change their rules logic only once fur all business processes that use them. This helps ensure improved performance of automated processes and reduce the need for coding.
