Hands-On Technology Gains Two New Strategic Investors; Olivetti and R.R. Donnelley also Assume Board Seats.


BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 1995--Hands-On Technology (HOT)(TM), the first multimedia publisher to focus exclusively on the needs of the business market, today announced the addition of Olivetti and R.R. Donnelly as major strategic investors in the company. Corporate officials from both Olivetti and R.R. Donnelley will become members of the HOT board of directors.

New members of the board are Barton Faber of R.R. Donnelley Information Services See Information Systems.  and Alexandra Giurgiu of Olivetti.

HOT develops and publishes real-time insight tools that bring together business "mentors," tools and content. The company's sophisticated CD-ROM-based technology allows users to interact with corporate leaders to develop a customized marketing program based on specific requirements.
