Space Gallery on Polk and Sutter Streets was the scene (... as in "all the gutters lead to"). More than likely just a little off top dead center for San Francisco's rent-a-tranny free enterprise zone. The event was a reprobate downbeat photographic exhibit entitled Futureopolis, which did not even pretend to offer up any explanations for its content or orientation. Photographs depicted such arcana as Adi Futbols, giant neon clowns, Islamic signage and Juan Marquez sleds and rolling suspects like Zeke, Fat Mark Kaake, Dewitt Knox Cannon, Josh Loscano, BMG, and Buff. Writers and riders were predominantly in attendance. Seen on site were Mic-E Reyes, Swanker, Phelper, Joe Brook, Eben S, Zak Hawthorne, Hufs SF crew, the Convertitos, Linda Swenson, Hell's Belle J, Pee Wee Rotsaert, Bones Brigade Teddy Bennett, Tony Vitello, Oaktown Jamie, Danny Fuenzalida, Chenzo, Luke, Randy Scanna, Ms Bianca, Gywnned Rose, Ert, William Haugh, Jeremy Ortega, Trent, easily several hundred more. Alden Sterling skated over the sculpture with great effect. Although the drinks were free, some people obviously paid the price. Someone said that Jester Winestein came by, and maybe Bill Bowerman too?

Doug Shoemaker is allegedly launching a company somewhere from the lobby of an unnamed ultra posh Union Square hotel, where he just might be a manager of repute. Doug's doubly dislocated arms have mended, and he's been sessioning ferociously in spite of the fine Italian suits he frequently wears in the name of professional hospitality.

First it flared up in Forbes' financial pages, now it's in the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Birdo Guisinger's "Just Don't Consolidate It" ad campaign is once again operational and confrontational. Also weighing in on the subjects of authenticity, progression, and freedom of expression were such individuals as Jondi Gumz, Keith "NHS" Wilson, and Kevin "Swoosh" Imamura.

The Anti Hero original iconic eagle drawing got nicked right from an opening of art in the UK. Prevailing truce advocates managed to influence the piece's voluntary return. So the hit is off. Thanks for the chops.
