ST. LOUIS -- By a 299-5 vote, a Polish parish in the Archdiocese of St. Louis voted to retain control of its nearly $10 million in assets, despite threats of interdict interdict (ĭn`tərdĭkt), ecclesiastical censure notably used in the Roman Catholic Church, especially in the Middle Ages.
