Hand cream recipe.


Recipe 1:

1 level teaspoon borax
4 oz. stearic acid
1 tablespoon ammonia (extra strong)
12 oz. glycerin
1-1/2 in. square parafin

Place stearic acid, parafin and glycerin
in top of double boiler. When all
are dissolved, add ammonia and beat
with a spoon until melted. Dissolve
borax in 16 oz. of warm water in a
large bowl. Add the other ingredients
to the borax solution. This mixture
will be white, add food coloring and
perfume if desired.

Recipe 2:

1 lb. unibase
1 pint glycerin
2 oz. Alpha Keri bath oil
1 qt. distilled water

Add water gradually to unibase
and glycerin, then add Alpha Keri oil.
