) today announced that Hanaro Telecom Hanaro Telecom, Inc. is a Seoul-based Korean telecommunications company, one of the largest providers of high-speed broadband internet access in South Korea. Hanaro's e-Valley project delivers ultra high-speed data and voice services simultaneously over the carrier's fiber optic network. By providing high-density buildings with 45 MB, 155 MB, or one Gigabit connections, Hanaro is extending the reach of its network to more than 11 million homes throughout the greater Seoul area.

Ethernet offers a more economical alternative.
