Halfacre-Wooten. (2003 Wedding Register).


In a candlelight ceremony at Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, Haley Ann Halfacre and Joshua Landon Wooten were united in marriage on May 18, 2002. Rev. Hilton Lee Simmons, Jr. of Starkville officiated at the ceremony and blessed couple with communion as a confirmation of their commitment to serve Christ as one.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lynn Jobe of Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Carleton Wooten of Florence.

Michael Halfacre and Paul Halfacre presented the scripture readings. Daniel Fenn, organist; Melanie Sprayberry, pianist; and Song Xie, violinist, provided ceremonial music. Vocalists were Chad Stewart, Wade Stewart, and Greg Thames.

The bride was radiant in a princess-line gown in ivory matte satin with intricate silver and light gold beading beading,

Groomsmen were Scott Beasley, Stewart Cannon, Keith Covington, Andrew Hoeniges, Matthew Jolley, Brian McDonald, Michael Posey, Kyle Thompson, Kevin Wade, Jason Wooten, and Shannon Wooten, Zachary DePriest and Brady Wooten served as ring bearers. After the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Dennery's, where guests enjoyed a string trio directed by Song Xie.
