Haights Cross reports strong performance.


Haights Cross Communications, a privately held educational and professional publisher headed by Peter Quandt, announced that its sales growth for the first nine months of 2002 was ten percent from its core businesses.

Those core businesses include Oakstone Publishing, a leading newsletter publisher for the medical, wellness, and legal professions which also achieved double-digit dou·ble-dig·it

Oakstone Wellness launched its TopHealth.com electronic newsletter and TopTopics.com web site, primarily used by businesses to encourage their employees to be healthy and safe at work and home.

Its Medical division introduced CMEOnly.com, a web-based continuing education continuing education: see adult education.

As the education market continues to weaken due to declining school budgets for classroom materials, our educational products have perfomed well. At the same time, all of our businesses are aggressively developing and introducing new products."
