Hagedorn Hall heroics.Architecture firm Thanhauser Esterson Kapell (TEK See TeX. ) has been honored with an award of merit in the Municipal / Institutional Division at the AIA AIA - Application Integration Architecture Long Island Chapter 2004 "Archi" Awards for its groundbreaking design of Hofstra University's new school of education, Hagedorn Hall. The award was presented at the Long Island Chapter of the American Institute of Architects The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is a professional organization for architects in the United States. Organized in 1857, the Institute conducts various activities and programs to support the profession and enhance its public image, including periodically awarding the AIA annual awards gala. This marks the third such honor for TEK this year, having already been honored with two New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of Construction News Best of 2004 awards for Hagedorn Hall, and its unique office design for event marketing firm, US Concepts. TEK has secured a position at the forefront of architecture and design, winning major commissions from an eclectic clientele. |
