HUD updates accounting guidance for M2M restructured properties, issues new guidance on demo properties.The Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Affordable Housing Preservation issued the 2006 M2M M2M Machine-to-Machine (communication, mainly mobile) M2M Minutes to Midnight (Linkin Park album) M2M Mobile to Mobile (cellular phone) M2M Member-to-Member M2M Month to Month Accounting Q&A's to property owners and accountants addressing issues, questions and problems unique to Mark-to-Market Mark-to-market Adjustment of the book value or collateral value of a security to reflect current market value. Additionally, OAHP OAHP Office of Affordable Housing Programs (US HUD) developed new DEMO Accounting Q&A's to specifically address accounting questions and issues associated with Portfolio Reengineering Using information technology to improve performance and cut costs. Its main premise, as popularized by the book "Reengineering the Corporation" by Michael Hammer and James Champy, is to examine the goals of an organization and to redesign work and business processes from the ground up Demo Properties (DEMO).
