HUD updates accounting guidance for M2M restructured properties, issues new guidance on demo properties.

Additionally, OAHP OAHP Office of Affordable Housing Programs (US HUD)  developed new DEMO Accounting Q&A's to specifically address accounting questions and issues associated with Portfolio Reengineering Using information technology to improve performance and cut costs. Its main premise, as popularized by the book "Reengineering the Corporation" by Michael Hammer and James Champy, is to examine the goals of an organization and to redesign work and business processes from the ground up  Demo Properties (DEMO).
