HTE Inc. (Nasdaq:HTEI), a leading provider of enterprisewide software solutions for the public sector, and ACOM Solutions Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce and other advanced management solutions, have formed a business alliance, it was announced today by Tim Vickers, HTE vice president of sales and marketing, and Mark Firmin, vice president of sales for the ACOM AS/400 Division.

ACOM's award-winning EZPrint/400 solution for AS/400 electronic document printing, faxing and e-mailing of laser forms and MICR checks is currently used by a number of HTE customers, including the City of Sumter, S.C.; the Cities of San Bernardino and Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; and the City of Lacey, Wash.

EZPrint/400 enables users to print electronic versions of their documents on blank paper using laser printers, virtually eliminating the need for preprinted forms and stationery.
