HT Acquires Network Multiplexer Business.

HT Communications Inc. today announced that the company has acquired the entire family of data multiplexer products from Data Race Inc.

The acquisition includes newly developed and not yet released products.

The products include remote and central site voice/fax and data multiplexers capable of servicing up to 64 communication channels in a single package with routing and Frame Relay features.

In making the announcement, HT President Roger Free stated: "These newly acquired data communications products are among the most versatile and reliable units on the market and will be a significant addition to HT's family of DSUs, T1 Channel Banks and Multiplexers. The Frame Relay and router capabilities will enhance our existing FRAD (Frame Relay Access Device or Frame Relay Assembler Disassembler) A communications device that formats outgoing data into the format required by a frame relay network.
