HRPOCA adds 3 new members.


Birdsall Engineering, Inc., OENJ Cherokee Corporation and CAHN CAHN Critical Access Hospital Network  communications, Inc. are the newest members to join the Hudson River Hudson River

River, New York, U.S. Originating in the Adirondack Mountains and flowing for about 315 mi (507 km) to New York City, it was named for Henry Hudson, who explored it in 1609. Dutch settlement of the Hudson valley began in 1629.

The three New Jersey firms join a growing list of prominent developers, corporate users, condominium associations and non-profit organizations concerned about development along the Hudson River's "Gold Coast."

"It is our pleasure to welcome these prestigious organizations into our Association," says Ciorsdan Conran, HRPOCA's Executive Director. "Each will be able to contribute a different expertise and knowledge toward our goal of encouraging positive growth along New Jersey's Hudson River waterfront."

Birdsall Engineering has served as consulting engineers, land surveyors, and environmental professionals since 1919.

"We've been involved with the Hudson County waterfront for quite some time," points out Tim Fitzpatrick, project manager for the Belmar-based company. "HRPOCA is an excellent representation of the cross section of the development and regulatory community.

"Being a member will give us insight as to how the developers are reacting to changing regulatory policies and how these regulatory policies may further change."

Headquartered in Bayonne, OENJ Cherokee is involved in redeveloping contaminated contaminated,

Hackensack-based CAHN Communications is a full-service public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  and communications firm specializing in real estate. Several of its clients are involved in developing New Jersey's Hudson River waterfront.

Formed in 1996, Hoboken, N.J.-based HRPOCA has provided an umbrella for development of the riverfront in an economically feasible manner consistent with public benefit and environmental sensitivity.

During the past year, the Association's initiatives included efforts to complete the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, located on Kill van Kull and the western shore of Upper New York Bay and the Hudson River, is an ongoing and incomplete project inspired by a New Jersey state-mandated master plan to connect the municipalities from the Bayonne Bridge to the  and the creation of a private-public partnership between the County, Hudson County Improvement Authority (HCIA HCIA Hungarian Chemical Industry Association
