HP NetServer LX Pro Series To Deliver Combined SAP and Informix Enterprise Solution; Certification to be Provided by Leading Client server Software Vendor.

, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1996-- Hewlett-Packard Company today announced a worldwide agreement with INFORMIX and SAP, enabling HP to offer a Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  platform for SAP R/3 Rel. 3.0 and INFORMIX OnLine Dynamic Server 7.20 on the HP NetServer LX Pro Series. The SAP and INFORMIX combination provides customers an integrated product with innovative database technology at a cost-effective price.

iXOS software, a leading European client/server software vendor with expertise in service and support, announced that it plans to certify the integrated products on the Windows NT platform. This registered certification indicates the level of company commitment that customers expect in this application-server market.
