HP Exec Discusses Recent Alliance With Baltimore Tech on IT Radio Network.

Business Editors

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 2000

IT Radio Network, the voice behind eBusiness, is featuring an in-depth interview with Nicolas Ginavet, Consulting Service Manager for Internet Security for HP (NYSE NYSE

See: New York Stock Exchange
:HWP).

During the interview, Ginavet discussed the company's recent relationship announcement with Baltimore Technologies, what it means to HP's customers, why they chose Baltimore and HP's vision for protecting the net.

According to Ginavet, HP's recent alliance with Baltimore Technologies will mean a lot to their customers in terms of security. "What it means is that HP is now an interoperable solution for PKI," said Ginavet. "Customers can come to us and we can be their trusted advisor and drive them through the hazards of the Internet."

Ginavet also discussed why the company decided to choose Baltimore as opposed to another Internet security company. "Baltimore (Nasdaq:BALT BALT

bronchus-associated lymphoid tissue.

BALT Bronchiole-associated lymphoid tissue, see MALT
) is obviously the best technology in the marketplace today," said Ginavet. "It's the most carriable technology and they separated all the components of the PKI infrastructure."

Ginavet also discussed HP's vision for protecting the secure communication of voice and data. "HP's vision is that more and more the company's Intranet will be blended into the Internet," said Ginavet. "You will not have any more Intranets in the company, and you will be working on the Internet."

This interview and many others are available free online in RealAudio and text at http://www.itradionetwork.com.
