Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. Santa Clarita Valley-Newhall Optimist Club: Decorated boxes have been placed at local retail outlets as receptacles for nonperishable food and unwrapped toys to be donated in the 19th year of the Optimist Club's Toy and Food Drive. To donate a turkey or other perishable item, make a cash donation or learn of receptacle locations, call Dee Gadbury at (661) 252-7313.
