Pop artist Peter Max is opening his latest exhibit to rave reviews at an unconventional ``gallery'' this month. Max's designs, both new and old, appear on a new line of greeting cards See e-card. , gift wrap, tissue paper and gift bags in several shapes, sizes and styles at Target stores.

The paper goods feature images from Max's famous ``cosmic '60s'' style as well as his bright ``neo-fauve'' paintings reflecting different styles and artistic periods. Designs include the artist's popular ``Umbrella Man'' and ``Dega Man,'' as well as his widely known heart and angel motifs, just in time to wrap a special Valentine's Day Valentine's Day: see Saint Valentine's Day.

ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET FLOWERS

Anthony Tesselaar International has introduced the fourth in its series of Flower Carpet easy-care groundcover roses. Red Flower Carpet, which blooms from spring through fall and has a natural resistance to black spot and mildew, joins pink (introduced in 1995), white (1997) and appleblossom (1998) varieties.
