Now open: a second Drai's called Drai's Cafe, in Beverly Hills and already a hotspot in its own right.

Catch of the week

Shiro, 1505 Mission St., South Pasadena, (818) 799-4774. You won't find a better plate of oceanfare anywhere. But don't look for handsome furnishings. This is a no-frills, reasonably-priced cafe that has seafood fanciers jumping for joy.
