(Westlake High), Matt Moore (Hart High), Shane Morales (Valencia High/COC), Dorian Smith (Birmingham High) and Adam Speer (Chaminade High) are all key contributors for Oregon State, which takes on Missouri at 11:15 a.m. Friday in El Paso El Paso (ĕl pă`sō), city (1990 pop. 515,342), seat of El Paso co., extreme W Tex., on the Rio Grande opposite Juárez, Mex.; inc. 1873. , Texas.

``It is kind of weird how we all ended up here,'' said LaRocque, who leads the Beavers with 89 tackles.

``I really only knew Matt (Moore), Shane (Morales) and (Adam) Speer before I came here. I'd only heard of all the other guys.

``It's amazing, though, because this team is so close. I think that's why we've had such a good year. Because everyone here just gets along so well.''

A victory would give Oregon State (9-4) 10 wins for only the second time in school history.

Moore is the team's starting quarterback, Lemma tied a school record with 31 consecutive starts at defensive end earlier this year, Smith leads the team with nine sacks and Speer will make his first college start after appearing in all 13games this year.
