For the second year in a row, Sarris was honored as the California Coach of the Year and Division I High School Far West Coach of the Year by the NSCAA. -- Erik Boal Raives awaiting return: As a result of the Thousand Oaks girls' soccer team playing four games last week in the Excalibur tournament at Foothill High in Santa Ana, second-year coach Geoff Raives must sit out only one more match to fulfill his nine-game suspension for violating the Southern Section's association rule while coaching with the Camarillo Eagles club during the fall. Raives helped guide Thousand Oaks to a 4-0start. The Lancers are 4-4 in his absence, finishing 11th in the 32-team tournament.
