Harvard-Westlake of Studio City boys' water polo senior Brian Pingree was selected the Most Valuable Goalie at the Pan Pacific Championships after leading the U.S. Youth National Team to the tournament final. The U.S. lost 13-12 to Canada's junior team in Sunday's final. La Canada senior Devon Borisoff and Harvard-Westlake senior Jeff Schwimer also played for the U.S. Youth Team at the tournament in Calgary, Canada. Schwimer scored two goals in the final and Borisoff added one.
